SCRT NZ is based in New Zealand. All prices, fees, shipping costs, and promotional discounts listed on our Site are strictly quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD), unless explicitly selected otherwise via a multi-currency switcher.

We reserve the right to modify prices, update product descriptions, or discontinue items at any time without prior notice.

3. Intellectual Property, Proprietary Tech & Restrictions

Proprietary Information

All contents, designs, text, graphics, logos, product concepts, media, and proprietary shield technologies—including our EliteBlock™ fabric, product designs, and technical testing documentation—are the exclusive intellectual property of SCRT NZ and its licensors.

Use Restrictions

You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to access and view the Site for personal, non-commercial use only. You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Modifying, copying, distributing, transmitting, displaying, performing, reproducing, publishing, or creating derivative works from any material on this Site.

  • Exploiting any material, trademark, or copyrighted asset for commercial gain or sale without prior written authorisation from SCRT NZ.

  • Removing or altering any trademark, copyright, or legal notices embedded on the Site or our physical products.

4. Confidentiality, Non-Compete & Anti-Reverse Engineering

Users and visitors acknowledge that the technical designs, attenuation layering processes, testing methodologies, materials, and digital isolation strategies developed by SCRT NZ are proprietary commercial trade secrets.

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, deconstruct, copy, or duplicate our EliteBlock™ 3-layer construction or product architecture for commercial manufacture or competitive analysis.

  • Record, teach, train, or commercialise our proprietary concepts or materials without express, formal written permission from SCRT NZ.

We actively monitor for unauthorised duplication and intellectual property infringement and will pursue legal action to protect our proprietary rights and sovereignty.

5. Third-Party Links & External Sites

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, resources, or services not owned or controlled by SCRT NZ.

  • These Terms apply exclusively to our Site. We hold no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, terms, or security of external websites.

  • Inclusion of any external link does not imply endorsement by SCRT NZ.

6. Disclaimers & Warranties

While we rigorously test our equipment (including independent lab assessments at RF Test Solutions), all Site content, materials, and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

  • Performance Factors: Faraday signal blocking performance depends on proper usage, complete closure of sleeves/boxes, and avoiding physical damage to shielding layers. We do not warrant that misuse, physical degradation, or extreme untested environments will yield total signal isolation.

  • Site Availability: We do not warrant that access to our Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely free of malicious components, though we maintain strict server-level security safeguards.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under New Zealand law:

  1. Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) Rights: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986 where you purchase goods for personal household use. Where goods are acquired for commercial or business purposes, you agree that the provisions of the CGA do not apply.

  2. Cap on Liability: Under no circumstances—including negligence—shall SCRT NZ, its directors, employees, or licensors be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, our Site or products (including data loss, vehicle theft resulting from user error, or device interference).

  3. Maximum Recovery: In any event, our total aggregate liability for any claims, losses, or legal causes of action shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to purchase the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
